The design began life as a viral image that was kicked around the Internet but the image’s creator (David Delisle of Dave’s Geeky Ideas) was inundated with requests for the product, leading him to defer to his friend Tom Spina, who creates custom designs to order. The designer has estimated the cost of building a planchette coffee table and Ouija Board rug to be around $2,000. And while that’s certainly not cheap, you would have a very cool, very one of a kind furniture set that would be sure to spark hours of conversation.
