The new Sabrina series coincides with the 85th anniversary of Archie Comics!
A host of new covers have been revealed for Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1 launching this fall to coincide with Archie Comics’ 85th anniversary!
The new title’s from Oni Press in conjunction with Archie Comics Publications, Inc. You can watch for the debut in October. The story’s from Hugo Award nominee Corinna Bechko (EC’s Blood Type) and Eisner Award nominee Kano (Daredevil) provides the main cover. Kano is also the series’ artist.

In addition to Kano, other variants will be available from Eisner Award-nominated cover artist Marguerite Sauvage (Action Comics), Naomi Franq (Tales from Harrow County: Death’s Choir) and Eisner Award–winning cartoonist Caroline Cash (PeePee PooPoo).
Also providing covers are Archie Comics veteran Dan Parent (Life with Kevin), Eisner Award–winning artist Erica Henderson (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl) and Mahmud Asrar (Conan the Barbarian).
A variety of styles will give readers a look into Sabrina’s world, with the classic Archie Comics looks blending with a more recent, spooky atmosphere.
The official synopsis notes that Sabrina is “still reeling from the surprise revelation of her secret birthright and with Halloween just around the corner is honing her craft one hex at a time and figuring out how to balance her magical new life with the crushing responsibilities of being 16 years old.”
That’s when Salem, her feline familiar, “drops a mythical trickster on Sabrina’s literal doorstep.”
Then, Sabrina realizes she might not be able to “keep her two worlds from smashing together like two busted pumpkins on All Hallows’ Eve. No time for fate. No time for destiny. No time for homework. Being a teenager is far from magical . . . even when you’re a witch!”

The new Sabrina comic is just the first part of the new Archie lineup. Watch for Archie in Hell No. 1 coming in October.
