Adam Green Series Horrified! Extended

Horrified

Horror film favorite Adam Green has announced that his company’s latest online original series, Horrified!, has been extended into a much longer season. Originally set to end around Halloween time, when the second season of Green’s other online series, Scary Sleepover, was supposed to begin, Horrified! has already received such a positive response from fans that it will now run until Christmas. A new episode will air every Friday from now until then on ArieScope.com, the website for Green’s production company.

Horrified! is hosted by Green’s Holliston co-star Corri English, and features a different celebrity each week–both horror and non-horror–spilling their guts to the camera about their most embarrassing, disgusting, or just plain disturbing real-life horror stories. The first four episodes feature actors Rachael Leigh Cook, Jeffrey Lewis, Jordan Ladd, and sound designer Mathew Waters. Shot in a style reminiscent of The Twilight Zone and running at less than five minutes each, these horrifying tales are easy-to-digest shorts that are both entertaining and humbling.

ArieScope is not only home to Scary Sleepover and Horrified!, but also a scripted anthology series from Ben Rock and Bob DeRosa called 20 Seconds to Live, where several unlucky characters meet their demise once the clock counts down. That series has already ended, but Scary Sleepover will return for its second season at Christmas when Horrified! ends.

You can watch the first four and all future episodes of Horrified! HERE, and be sure to stay tuned for Wicked Horror’s exclusive interview with Green coming soon!
