Check Out This Exclusive Clip From The Ridley Scott-Produced Phoenix Forgotten

The question of whether we’re alone in the universe is one that’s plagued filmmakers pretty much forever. And none more so than visionary director Ridley Scott, whose role as producer on the upcoming Phoenix Forgotten surely makes the flick a must-see for sci-fan fans. We’ve got an exclusive clip, with the man himself discussing the movie, for you to check out below.

Phoenix Forgotten is being touted as “the perfect Friday night escape”, but eager fans won’t have to wait too long to introduce it to their weekend viewing schedule as the flick hit Digital HD July 18, then Blu-ray and DVD August 1.

The official synopsis is as follows:

From legendary producer Ridley Scott comes a chilling revelation based on the true events of March 13, 1997, when a strange pattern of lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. PHOENIX FORGOTTEN tells the story of three high school students who went into the desert to document this phenomenon. They were never seen again. Two decades later, the sister of one of the missing teens returns to investigate, suspecting a massive cover-up by the government and local law enforcement. But nothing could prepare her for the shocking discovery of the footage from that fateful expedition…and now the terrifying truth will finally be revealed!

The home video package is loaded with behind-the-scenes footage, featurettes and an audio commentary.

The clip we’ve snagged just for you guys (check it out below) sees filmmakers, including Scott himself, discuss the desert’s role in the film and UFO sightings.
