The Netflix horror section has long been an unintelligible mess of stuff, more often than not impossible to sift through on a lonely Saturday night in when all you want to do is kick back with something bloody (just me?).
Worry no more as, thanks to helpful website WhatsOnNetflix.com, we now understand how the popular streaming site categorizes their movies. And, rather than bore you with the logistics, we’re just going to give you the (ridiculous) results.
This is especially good news for horror fans, because as we all know our beloved genre can be broken down in about a million different ways, often making it impossible to find exactly what you’re looking for.
Even more exciting news is that the lovely folks over at HorrorFreakNews have compiled a pretty exhaustive list of every single Netflix horror sub-genre, along with the links for each.
As the compiler explains, some of the links won’t offer any results just yet, but in time that will change as Netflix’s catalogue shifts, so keep checking back. Some of them are fairly specific but that’s part of the fun, so feel free to go through ’em all and see what wonderful madness you stumble upon.
The number at the end of each category can be entered into the end of the following web address, to find the results of that particular genre.
