Calling all found footage fans in the San Francisco Bay area: The Unnamed Footage Festival is making its inaugural run this weekend. The fest goes from March 24-25 at the historic Balboa Theater. The fest will mark the big screen debut of the found footage horror film Descent into Darkness: My European Nightmare.
The Balboa Theater was built over an old cemetery and it has long been recognized as a hotspot for otherworldly happenings.
The festival will feature both short and feature-length films from all over the world, all utilizing found footage or mockumentary narrative techniques.
