New on Netflix: March 13th, 2020

It’s Friday and you know what that means: It’s time to figure out what you’ll be binging during the upcoming week. Welcome back to New on Netflix! The streaming giant’s horror department has always been a mixed bag. However, I’d say they’ve really stepped up their game in the last couple of years with the release of amazing, essential watches. We’ve been treated to must see original programming like The Haunting of Hill House, Velvet Buzzsaw, Hush, and some of the classics we all know and love.

So let’s just jump in and check out the latest Netflix additions for the week of March 13th, 2020!

The Platform

Coming our way March 20th is The Platform! In an alternate future, prisoners housed in vertical cells are forced to watch as inmates in the upper cells are fed well while everyone else below is forced to feed on the scraps. Or starve.

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness

Also coming to Netflix on the 20th is the true crime documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. The film details the crimes of Joe Exotic, a mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. Life is dangerous and dazzling for Exotic and he wouldn’t have it any other way. But things take a dark turn when a feud with animal activist Carole Baskin results in Exotic’s arrest for his alleged involvement in a murder-for-hire plot.
