Night Shyamalan fans as he in shooting his next feature called ‘Sundowning’ The cast includes Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Erica Lynne Marszalek, Peter McRobbie, Olivia DeJonge, Deanna Dunagan, Benjamin Kanes, Jon Douglas Rainey, Brian Gildea, Shawn Gonzalez, Richard Barlow, Steve Annan, and Michael Mariano.
The movie is described as a mind melting twist with heightened confusion and lots of people with dementia. Perhaps this from Wikipedia will help. “Sundowning” is a psychological phenomenon associated with increased confusion and restlessness in patients with some form of dementia. Most commonly associated with Alzheimer’s disease, but also found in those with mixed dementia, the term “sundowning” was coined due to the timing of the patient’s confusion. For patients with sundowning syndrome, a multitude of behavioral problems begin to occur in the evening or while the sun is setting.”
M. Night is making this film with Ashwin Rajan, Steven Schneider and Marc Bienstock. The movie is almost done filming near M Night’s home in Pennsylvania. Here’s hoping it does better than The Last Airbender and After Earth.
